WYNGAARD’S CASH INCENTIVES HIT THE BULL — 13 PLAYERS CASH IN!

“
The darts are flying, the cash is waiting, and the drama continues!

Young Turk Jaden Erasmus steals the show as the bull-close battle adds extra spice to the Jeff Adams Memorial

Donovan Wyngaard’s generous sponsorship delivered instant rewards at yesterday’s Jeff Adams Memorial Men’s Tier round-robin stage, with 13 players walking away with R50 cash prizes for closing their matches on the bull.

Although no nine-darters or Big Fish checkouts were recorded, the bull closes certainly kept the cash flowing!

Gary “No Look” Dowman was the first player to pocket the R50 reward. He then became the first player to claim a second bull-close prize, with Clifford Stradling, Adrian Petersen, defending champion Gary Dammert and Vernon Bouwers following in his footsteps.

But when the moment arrived for a new star to steal the show, it was young gun Jaden Erasmus who delivered!

Erasmus landed two bull closes in his match against Ashley Moodley, collecting R100 in the process. Later in the day, he added another bull close to his tally, taking his personal earnings to R150 and putting himself at the top of the bull-close leaderboard.

R50 FOR THE BULL — BUT AT WHAT COST?

With the knockout stages now upon us, an intriguing question arises: will players continue to chase the R50 bull-close reward, or will they keep their focus firmly on the main prize?

After all, a player who loses sight of proper board management in pursuit of a quick cash incentive could pay a much heavier price. The ultimate objective remains the coveted R10,000 tournament winner’s prize.

Sponsor Donovan Wyngaard, however, has an even bigger target in mind: the elusive nine-darter!

The first player to produce the perfect leg stands to collect R20,000, with every subsequent nine-darter worth R10,000. That is double the main winner’s prize for the first player to achieve perfection!

LADIES, IT’S YOUR TURN!

With the Ladies Tier taking centre stage today, the question is whether the ladies can join the bull-close cash party.

Every match closed out on the bull earns the player an immediate R50 cash reward, while the legendary 170 Big Fish checkout carries a R2,000 prize in the Ladies Tier, compared with R1,000 for the Men.

Wyngaard is hoping to see at least five Big Fish checkouts from the Men today. Several opportunities slipped away yesterday as potential 170 finishes failed to find their mark.

Will one of those elusive Big Fish finally be landed today?

THE CASH IS WAITING — THE OCHE IS CALLING!

With the knockout battles heating up, the Ladies entering the fray and some serious cash incentives on offer, there is plenty to keep players and spectators on the edge of their seats.

Will Jaden Erasmus continue his bull-close rampage? Will someone land the Big Fish? And who will produce the perfect nine darts to claim R20,000?

Join us today at the Tygerflights Clubhouse, Fabriek Street, Bellville South, for another exciting day of Jeff Adams Memorial darts!

R50 for the bull. R1,000 or R2,000 for the Big Fish. R20,000 for perfection!
